Stuck screws are now stripped and can't remove plastic chassis.
I was impressed by the car out of the box. Everything worked well. It was only when I tried fitting the optional parts that things went wrong. I haven't been able to fit the metal chassis as some of the screws fixing the plastic chassis in place were stuck and have now stripped so they can't be taken out. The metal swing arm assemblies are a poor fit and render the suspension useless, and alter the steering capabilities of the car. Lack of instructions made things more difficult too.

The item is not compatible with the MG044 4WD car and they don't tell you on their website. The wheel hub connection is too big and it won't enter in the suspension bracket

The item does not fit the MG044. The dimensions are different (the metal bracket C-shaped, which hold the spindle, is shorter than the original). This result in the drive shaft to be bent/damaged.

They're ok for slick surfaces. a bit slippy though. Not much choice.. Softer compound slicks would be better.. hint hint, Sniclo

Good quality. Recommended Though supplied fasteners are inadequate. have to use tiny self tappers from doner chasis to use in aluminum?.. not easy! Swap over fastener set should be supplied with alum' chasis kit. imho
Haven't used yet. Seem fine apart from being plastic on steel shaft. Should be brass on steel shaft, or all brass. imho

I’m glad they made this particular piece a replacement part because it’s usually the piece that gets worn out quickly(as the original one that comes with the rc car is plastic and this replacement part is made of metal!😊

Opening the motor reveals the gears are still plastic, so you aren’t getting a more durable design. The outside casing is metal, which is nice, but also consider this impacts the weight distribution. I ended up putting the original motor casing back in due to the more ideal weight distribution, but if you are going for speed and not trying to drift this would be a decent upgrade (aside from the internal plastic gears).
