The MG044 is really beautiful, I want to upgrade it with aluminum metal chassis, suspension arms and its front and rare gear box......
This is the APEX car! In my opinion, best one that Sniclo offers from performance and build quality point of view(stock model). Racing with my colleagues, we have in our "garage" MG117-4 pro, MG117-4(the limited edition), MG058, MG034 and the MG044 acceleration stands out compared with others, top speed seems same as MG034, but that acceleration makes a big difference during the racing. Additionally, the car is wider than others and this brings good stability. chassis and rims are not plastic, stock build quality is very good, of course you can customize and add metal differentials, etc. Gyro compensation is very good, suspension works nice, car feels excellent during FPV racing. I used it allot, had a lot of crushes and except the car shell the only noticeable damage was the servo, but this seems to be Achilles to all Sniclo 1:43 car range, we already replaced a bunch of servos on different car (if you crash brutally in the moment when your wheels are steered it damages one small tooth of the wheel in the servo mechanism) - minor thing, easy to replace.

These are amazing little drift cars! By far the very best in this scale. And even some larger models are not as sofisticated as these MG series Sniclo Racing drift cars. Gorgeous body and quality in every detail under the hood. all the necessary parts can be replaced. So these will go for many miles or until the newer model comes along... I only wish that all the gears in the gearbox were metal... But maybe some are plastic for a reason? Even the radio that comes with the MG044 is very nice! They cost a bit more than the competition, but they are worth every penny. A lot of love has gone into these!

Very nice little car. Overal good build quality. when everythins is working it s fun to play with, very reactive. 3 stars and not 4 because of those drawbacks: The rearview mirror are way too fragile. Broken with the first use. The tires are not properly secured to the car rim; they slip and can come off. Sometimes the remote control and/or car does not react (with full battery).

The driving is amazing but it came broken out of the box and I had to change that piece to begin with. Luckily it came with metal replacements which hopefully will last longer.

The RC car is fantastic — everything you could wish for in a 1:43 scale model. PROS: Independent suspension, long-lasting battery, a beautiful and sturdy body shell, real servo, metal wheels, and a fully disassemblable and upgradable structure. A true little gem for hobbyists. I’ve only used it for drifting so far, for about a week, but it’s exceptional — crafted with impressive attention to detail. CONS: I noticed that one of the front headlights is much weaker than the other, so the two lights show different brightness levels. The side mirrors are also very fragile — both broke (maybe a rubberized material would’ve been better? Not sure). Additionally, the turn signals only work when the gyroscope is set to level 3; on level 4 they don’t activate. On the website I saw various spare parts available, but not, for example, the body shell or other components someone might need to replace. I didn’t fully understand the logic behind the spare parts selection. Honestly, for €100 and above, I expected it to be perfect even in these small details. Still, overall, I’m genuinely impressed — it performs extremely well and is a lot of fun to drive.

This little car packs a lot fun into a tiny size. I'm just returning to the hobby after 27 years and even I could perform sick drifts with minimal practice.

The RC car itself is surprisingly high-quality, especially for the money has a bunch of different settings on the controller. One thing I didn’t realize isI had to throttle turned halfway down and I kind of figured it was a little slow, but once I realized and corrected that the thing is pretty quick. The camera and all that is fine for what you pay for it works good enough. It’s fun to drive around the house and explore, butthe car itself is not able to go over anything like an area rug or a transition because it’s very low, which is fine.

I love this product as-is, but there is one serious mechanical issue that I think needs to be addressed, although I should say I’m not an engineer or expert on the topic. The issue in question is that many of the moving parts/gears are plastic, and sometimes they are even in direct contact with metal gears. This means the plastic gears break/erode at a rapid rate, and mine were completely stripped after about 2 weeks (I have two of this model to do testing by the way so this is consistent). To give five stars, I would need to see improvements in this regard. Metal gears are not uncommon or expensive, so it’s a real letdown that plastic is being used for these crucial mechanical parts. That said, the customer service has been great and they seem to send replacements whenever requested (assuming you pay shipping). If the company makes the necessary changes to preserve the lifespan of the internal mechanical components, this becomes a must-buy RC car. If no changes are made, I can only recommend it to tinkerers and people who don’t mind getting under the hood regularly (every two weeks or so).

What a car, having so much fun with it. Only issue I've had is side view mirror broken of and two of the screws for the control arms are stripped but still works. I will definitely be buying an other one in the near future.👍

This second generation design improves on the excellent Gen 1 cars with improved chassis design that should improve performance and reliability. The new controller board lncorporates a gyro and the 3 connectors going to the body have been reduced to ONE! The transmitter is also new incorporating features to control the gyro. The build quality is very good and the detailed body is finished in a shiny clear coat. The car is supplied with the hard drift tires already installed ready for drifting. I fitted the included rubber tires to run on our foam track. Handling is very good with excellent turn in and mid-corner grip. Overall, another 5 star effort from Sniclo! Intriguingly, there is silhouettes of the next 2 releases on the side of the box...
